There will be others wanting to eat out on Thursday night too Gretchen.  ES I love Paul's too - I used to go there for lunch sometimes when I was 17 and worked in town and Geoff and I have been in a couple of times these past few years.  House of Chow menu looks good Gert.

I will happily join anyone who wants to eat out onThursday night and as I don't know any Adelaide restaurants I will be happy to go with the flow  ;D

I'm easy too and I'm happy to follow Gert wherever she chooses to eat.  She knows Adelaide pretty well and I'm sure she will have found somewhere to eat by the time CC, MF and I arrive mid afternoon.

7 of us on the Thursday night as Frozzie doesn't arrive until Friday morning Gretchen.  I suggest you pm Amanda ahead of time to get some suggestions.  I think she is booking into the hotel on the Thursday night but that hasn't been confirmed yet - I have included her in that number though.  Not sure if any locals are joining us on the Thursday (Trudy may), so once again, here is another of my lists - people whom I have down for that day/night.  Locals please advise if you are joining us on the Thursday, particularly if you will be staying for the evening meal.

Thursday's airport arrival times

Djinni  8.50 am )
Gert  9.10 am   )    The lovely Karen is picking these people up
Uni 12.35 pm   )

MF  1.55 pm     )    CC and I are picking MF up on the way to book into the hotel ourselves

Bedlam  9.20 pm ) Bedlam is catching a taxi and will be too late to join us for dinner

Friday's airport arrival

Frozzie 8.55am to be picked up by Trudy and her DH

From another thread

Morning... Happy Bastille Day/Bonne Fête Nationale :)

Our morning paper had a list of some of Adelaide's best purveyors of French decadence listed in the paper yesterday Kim so here's a list of those in the city in case you have time on Friday of the retreat to pop into one or some.

Au Matin Calme, French patisserie, 210 Hutt Street

Smelly Cheese Shop, French cheeses in the Adelaide Central Market

St Louis House of Fine Ice-Cream & Desserts, 19 Gouger Street

Le Carpe Diem - crepes at 230-232 Grenfell Street

Today I am making a trial run of my goodie bag gifts - just to make sure they work out OK.  And the 2 boys are eyeing them off with delight - they love it when I test-run recipes  :D :D :D
