I used up two packets of vermicelli noodles today in the Singapore noodles. Lemons given to me were turned into curd and apples used in a tea cake.

I can hear Woolies and Coles crying.  Everyone cooking from their fridge, freezer and pantry.  I emptied a bottle of Rum and one of Creme De Menth ( spelling? ) into ice cream today.

Don't even got there chookie. I could not empty my bar in a year .  Freezer now has  only dog food, some smoked salmon, 4 slices of bacon, kafir lime leaves , some whey from my last marscapone making (which is gold) gow ghee wrappers and butter.

Pantry next.

Woohoo a big pantry  find of  some borlotti beans  OOD 2011, a bottle of V8 juice and some pasta. I feel minestrone coming on.  Just need to buy  a small amount of beef.

Inspirational Gert.  Astarra,  love it when you can use up the leftovers.
4 lamb chops out yesterday.  Stewing steak today.  Made chicken stock out of bones of duck and chicken.  Bit of chicken over so chicken and mushroom crepes .
