Gert , I am very worried about you, ( and envious). I have seen some of those lovely meals you have prepared.  Nice to have an empty freezer.  I live in hope.

I actually like a full freezer. Lol it means there is something for kids lunches. I also store all our pantry staples, flour etc in the freezer.

Tonight I did use up the taco shells.

Just made DH's lunch for tomorrow from the fridge - leftover roast chicken and gravy into a dish together, topped with leftover mashed potato  :) Then a sandwich using leftover cheese dip and ham (off the bone). also some pizza from the freezer.
Miss7 got leftover ham in her sandwich too,  8)

I panic a little that there is nothing for lunches or emergency meals. I have made a couple of things which will be frozen today, but I am not going to make food for the freezer if I dont have a plan for it to be eaten over 2 weeks.

Took a batch of Tenina's passata plus some ricotta gnocchi from the freezer for a meal today then checked the vegie supply to see if anything needed using up.  Just made a zucchini & risoni soup.

Thanks girls. ,!
We are having guests for lunch next week and I have just written the menu and won't have to buy anything.  Very happy as we have to buy new tyres for car and they are expensive.  Every little bit helps.

I know what you mean about tyres being expensive Chookie, have just been told our car also needs new ones.  Will have to go back to the freezer and the pantry for the next week or two or three
