I meal plan weekly but not strictly - if something looks good at the market or green grocer or plans change then I swap things around.

The 2 year old dictator eats what we eat, although sometimes we add extra chilli to ours (he does eat fairly spicy foods but DH and I like super spicy). Occasionally we have something we don't want to share but that is getting rare now that his lordship wants to eat everything. I'm heavily pregnant and my husband works long hours and travels for work a lot so the emphasis in our house is on healthy, quick and easy.

I love the sound of the 2 year old dictator, he sounds cute.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I've done a menu plan for this coming week, Friday-Friday, and I'm cooking lots of double recipes because I'll be away the week after and I want there to be plenty of meals in the freezer for mum and SD :)

Since DH has been home, I'm a bit out of my routine. Have planned tomorrow nights dinner at least.  :D

I am cleaning out my 3 freezers tomorrow. Then doing a menu plan, to use up stuff.

Ordering more beef, lamb, pork. ;)

Kids have told me what they will eat, that we eat.
So that is a good start. :)

DD is  now going to help me cook. ;D

Then I will take a thermie and a slow cooker to work too.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Hally a whole beast lasts us 10 months, so we got a 1/2 beast 5 months ago. :)

Looking forward to cooking one meal every nite for 6, instead of 3 meals.

Hally when did you get your order? That's still a lot left with the exception of the chicken.

Obbie, do you always buy off the same butcher? i'm thinking not if you need to check prices.

Last beef we got for free, so I have not paid for beef for 10 months.
