I'm on a bit of a roll Gert, may as well go with the flow until I run out of steam.

True Judy. I am thinking cookie must make a loaf of bread a day.  She may run out of steam too.

BWAAAAAAAA!

I won,t be cooking for a week. Going down to Sydney tomorrow morning to visit with my friend who broke her leg and should have been spending the week in Cairns? Not looking forward to the cold.  Not looking forward to the cold. Did I say. I was not looking forward to the COLD!

It is 26 here and the sun is out.

Is that Sue Gert?  Give her my best wishes if it is.  What a dear friend you are to hop on a plane and go down to help your friend.

Actually I am not looking forward to visiting Sydney at all. It will be my first time back in my old neighbourhood in 12 years. I feel like a country bumpkin. It will probably take me longer to get to Avalon on public transport than to fly from Cairns to Sydney. I am taking some treacle and yeast to make the Irish Brown Yeast Bread. Hope she has some wholemeal flour. What will I do without my TMX?

According to one forecast . .Tuesday 10C - 21C;  Wednesday 11C - 22C;   Thursday  12C - 23C;   Friday 6C - 15C;   Saturday 7C - 14C

It was supposed to be bright and sunny today  . . but not. It might brighten up a little later.  This is going to be one of those weeks where you think those lovely warm days are going to last . . . only to be whipped off your feet with an Arctic blast of freezing winds. . . .  :(

I have some jasmine in the garden that thought it might be spring and has started to blossom.  It'll have a rude awakening come the weekend .   :o >:(

Thanks Gf. Taking my new coat then. Found some socks. I won't be going out anywhere as I will be helping Sue. Yes Judy I will say hi.

The train and bus trip will be scary enough for me with all them people!

Jasmine are pretty hardy I hope!

Put on your happy face Gert and the cold may not get to you.

I make about 3 loaves of bread a week. I love yeast cookery.
The Hokkaido milk bread is oh so very nice. Even DH commented that it wasn't bad!  Next time I make it I will put milk instead of cream though. I just happened to have some cream this time.

Sorry it looks a bit green. It was taken this morning in a rush before I went out. It is very yellow though. A lovely bread and I will make it again.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
