do u have to wait until the temp goes down ?

Uni said it . I never had a problem with the TM31 turboing with mash at high temp.

But you can turn the speed up to 9/10 but it does not go to that speed as quickly as the 31 so my mash was sort of half chunky and half puree.

Gert

I hear what you are saying Gert, I don't like the slow response to high speed either.  Very different to 31.

I am also not loving that it is more difficult to separate the blade from the jug as the thumb "spot" is smaller. Nearly broke a nail!!

Gert

You get used to it quickly Gert.
I also found it awkward at first.

Exciting Katie, look forward to hearing your travels

Great news Katie. Have fun.
Gert I also find it hard to get the bottom off. No muscles.  :D
The 5 seems to have lots of heat safety measures built in. Yet the other day I  had rested my hand on the bowl, as I often do, and I was almost caught by the bowl lockers with my fitbit band.  ;D

I'm going to ring head office on Wednesday as I'm now getting sick of waiting. I'm normally pretty patient but I'm starting to get over it, I just feel bad for my consultant as it's not her fault either.

Wonder,  are you ringing Perth?  If so ring tomorrow as it isn't a holiday there, I think.

Mine was ordered on the 29 Sept and arrived today.  Beautiful Anita made a special visit to the PO to collect it and brought it up to me tonight.  I had my demo and other than pressing the wrong button and getting my instructions in Italian, everything looks good.
A couple of things, extend the cord to its maximum.   If you remove the lid from a hot bowl , you may not be able to put it back on immediately.
I have revised my opinion of the Chip and will probably use it as a basic set of instructions.
The little rubber prong at the back left side should be treated with respect as it controls the arms that close the lid.  I think I have this correct.
Now to bed with the manual.

You have been far too patient Wonder, I definitely think you should ring them.

Fun times ahead Chookie, I look forward to reading what you make.
I read the manual online today and I'm looking forward to it arriving tomorrow night.

Chookie, I'm not sure if there is any point in ringing Perth as it was dispatched from Melbourne so I assume they won't be able to do anything until they can talk to some from the Melbourne office but i guess it's worth a try.

Wonder, surely your consultant should be trying to get this sorted for you? Is she just telling you to wait until it arrives?  You have been very patient, I would be so frustrated by now. Hope you get it very soon

Maybe tell them if you haven't received it by Thursday you'd like your credit card refunded in full until you have your machine as you have already started paying interest on the amount. Clarify when the warranty commences from also. So ridiculous to have to wait this long.

I agree with Katie...wonder you have been more than patient. Ring Perth, ring Melbourne and ring your consultant so she can ring head office too. No harm in a few phone calls. This is the age of tracking. Someone somewhere knows exactly where your machine currently is.
