I made 2 jars out of this recipe Meagan - one for us and one for son-in-law. So I would say approximately 3-4 cups maybe?

hi, Thanks Thermoconvert. I tried your recipe yesterday and it is beautiful.  It was quite runny and i did cook for an extra 15 mins but none the less still yummy! Thank you!  :)

Wow, I made this yesterday, and it just about blew my socks off. Lovely taste, but with all the seeds in and home-grown chillies bit too hot for me. Was fine though, cos I found appreciative people who love it to share my bottles of sauce. S

I always add a teaspoon of this to my soups and stews etc - just my bowl as no one in the house likes "hot" but me. I think it makes a chicken noodle or similar soup.  ;)

sourpuss, somewhere on this forum there is a discussion about sweet chilli sauce being too hot and Thermomixer (I am sure it was) had the great idea of making another batch or 1/2 batch with red capsicums and combining the two. I have done that and it works a treat. I just can't find the thread - too sick and tired  :'( :'( :'(

Sorry to hear that you are ill faffa_70.  Need some serious rest.

Yes, good idea(might be mine) to mix with cooked peppers and maybe some extra sugar to reduce the heat.

It was me that had the problem, Faffa - and the link to the thread is here http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=311.0

Hope you feel better soon  :-*

Will be well soon, have been to the Dr today - tonsillitis  that even made her say "oh wow" when she looked down the throat (or in the mouth, cause that is where it felt like my tonsils were  :o :-)) :-)))
