Maddy you did a wonderful job with an appalling brief. She obviously has no style or taste but the cake is beautiful none the less.

LOL...I still snuck some glitter on though, couldn't help myself  :P
I would have much rathered to make a huge cupcake bouquet instead, but the monkey is off my back now  :)

I guess the scoop would give you nice even size biscuits. But if it's only 1 1/2 tsps wouldn't they be too small?

about the size of a 50 cent piece mandi

i have eaten about $20 worth already , i am baking more now  :-))
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

The cake looks fabulous Maddy - now for something completely different - today's effort at our place as well as 24 cup cakes!

Added tusks and some coloured contacts - previous red eyes looked evil!!!!

Love the elephant Johnro :)
DD 12 and her friend have taken over my kitchen cooking cakes, cupcakes, honey joys and egg and bacon pie. No complaints from me :D
I have been out in the garden all day weeding and tidying up.

Maddy & Johnro, both of those cakes look great! I wish I had the skill / patience to be able to pull something ike this off. I have a very strong interest in cake decorating, I've bent hinting about doing one of those week-end type classes at a cake shop. It's just finding the time.

Maddy - I see what you mean about all the pink. I'm a big fan of pink, but that's too much even for me. The cake itself looks great, but I think the pink candles were a little over the top. What did she think of it?

Maddy you've done so well with what you had to work with.  Only you can see any imperfections.  :D

Johnro, what a wonderful, colourful cake.  Any little boy would love.  :D
