I've just made the Five Seed Bread that has replaced the Cape Seed Bread in the EDC. It made a really large loaf (drrr, I should have realised) and was a very sloppy mix. I've just taken it out of the oven so will have some for lunch to see what the taste is like.
Yesterday I made custard for some fruit mince tarts I had in the freezer, rice for our chicken curry and used the Varoma to steam lots of green vegies (snow peas, zucchini, broccoli, broccolini and peas) and then made a cheese sauce to pour over them.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Today I've made buckwheat and spelt pancakes, spelt bread rolls and spelt bread, two chocolate cakes (which I usually make with rice/almond milk, but I ran out, so I added some cashew cream and some tahini and water to make it up - they were delicious and moist!), lemon/orange sorbet, steamed buns, cream cheese and herb dip, mayonnaise, coleslaw, mushroom risotto, vanilla custard... (okay, part of that was a demo  ;) ) and now I'm going to make some rice/almond milk, then custard for my kids to go with the cake.  We are having sandwiches for dinner - I'm had it!!!  :P

I started off today making the chicken stock concentrate, using white wine instead of red, and only adding a couple of pinches of salt as I freeze in 1/2 tsp amounts which will each make 1 cup of stock when added with water, amazing!

Making the beef concentrate tomorrow.

I then made the lemon feta and chunky beef chilli which we had for tea.  ;D

Today I have made fruit buns and chicken and veg soup.  The spelt bread rolls came out of the freezer.

I am considering a batch of icecream tonight.

Yummo! Perhaps I'll try the instant Banana & Macadamia icecream out of the Vego book...

Have made Chicken Cacciatore, Rice and Vegies, Raison Bread, new 5 seed bread (however I left it rise too long and came back to it gushing over the sides and all over the bench - still cooked up nicely though, just without the height), Lugi's 40 second biscuits and about to make some lemon spread to go on the 5 seed bread for breakfast - my favourite!!!!

Oh well done JulieO - you are so clever.  I sent mine direct to ILB's email address because I can't do these clever things on here. Don't forget to check the computer before you head off tomorrow ILB. Hope it doesn't rain and spoil your birthday, have fun.
