Great job ES, Christmas sure has come to your place.

I haven't really done much yet as I am unsure at this stage if we will even be able to get to where we are supposed to be going on Christmas Day.  Still time and I do have a big order being delivered in the morning with more ingredients I need.  It's a nice feeling to hand over a pack of home made goodies though so I probably will do them just for something to do to make it feel like Christmas.

Today we had visitors so I rustled up a parcel for them from what I had in the house before they got here - a bottle of Moscato (as I have 7 more coming, don't ask why 7  :-))) a bottle of Limoncello, a jar of cooked mayonnaise and a scrubby.  We don't often give presents to this couple but today I felt like it.  They did walk in with a tub of homegrown tomatoes, a cucumber and 2 litres of milk as I had rung them to see if they could bring some seeing as I almost ran out last night by making the mayo.

I have some bread in the oven now. I've been out most of the day and we need bread for breakfast.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Everything looks great ES, well done  ;D

Home grown tomatoes JD lucky you!  They always taste 100% better than the commercially grown ones.

I just boiled some eggs in the thermomix, lol! At least I don't have to worry about boiling the pot dry (which I have done a couple of times before as I am easily distracted), and will be making sticky date pudding for a take along dessert tonight.

Just dinner, but tomorrow & next week hopefully  lots

My meat arrives today, so I dont know how much space I will have in the freezer after its been packed away.
Hooing enough to make some goodies to freeze & takeaway.

I am going to leave some meat out, make up marinade & freeze the neat with the marinade on. Never done ths before but I am thinking it would be OK.

What do others think?

I have frozen marinade on its own OK.

Hally,  check out some vacuum packed meat at the supermarket and perhaps go a little under what they say as their machines are obviously much better than our home models.
