Huon Pine is lovely. Last time we were in Tassy I bought lots of small balls of Huron pine to put in my linen cupboard.

I have some bananas roasting to make roast banana icecream.

Not much cooking lately, too darn hot. We Melbournites aren't used to more than 2 hot days in a row lol! Yesterday made pancakes & apricot choc chip cookies. Today made cheese & bacon rolls and a loaf of no-fuss bread which is a bit of a flop for the first time ever! The dough stuck to the tea towel so loaf has deflated a bit. I'm sure it will still taste good though.

They look fantastic GHM.  Amy may I ask why you do that with the veggies? Are they from your garden, or perhaps the wonderful Albany markets?

Great cake pops GHM - after several attempts mine still don't look as good as yours!

Oh you've inspired me GHM! I think I might have a go at these for morning tea...did you do the Tim Tam + philly cheese kind or the cake kind? Any tips on getting the Tim Tam + philly cheese ones round and not oddballish??

They're just from our local fruit & veg shop Cookie. And I decided to start doing this because I like having vegetables at hand in the freezer for emergencies, but I'm sick of buying the bags from the supermarket and not getting good quality :-))

Fair enough. Do you ever go down to the markets? I bought some of the most beautiful natural yoghurt there last time we were down that way.
