Made a Vienna loaf in the slow cooker today, it rose so much that the top stuck to the lid (will grease it next time).  Just waiting for it to cool down so I can give it the taste test.

First ever attempt at Anzac biscuits, and got dh approval when he said they tasted exactly like the ones his mum used to make. And focaccia to go with soup for dinner.

What recipe did you use Uni?  Your slow cooker is producing some nice looking bread Judy.
TwoboysNaTMX I'm glad the Anzacs were appreciated.
I fell asleep reading my book club book so no more cooking.  :-\
bZB the dessert looks perfect for today's weather.

Made another salad to share with Mum for the hot days ahead.  Tuna, pasta, potato, peas & corn, parsley mixed with egg mayo.

That looks yummy Judy. I've been out most of today and just got home from grocery shopping so have only made a green smoothie today. Thinking of making something quick and easy for dessert though, I'm hungry lol.

That all looks great Uni. What's the sauce you have cooked your fish in?

i just added to the pan about 1 Tblsp of oil, garlic, onion and water to cover the pan
added the potatoes ,olives, capers, anchovies  and 1 can of tomatoes, i  would add 2 cans normally so i would have enough sauces to make some pasta

this sauce is very nice with prawns and spaghetti and a great dipping sauce to minus the pots

Not sure what to cook today.  Will have to try and find some things for school lunches.  GS is not used to good home cooked food which makes feeding him a problem.

Yesterday I made a lovely ginger cake - non TMX - next time I will try and convert it, very simple so shouldn't be a problem.  I am yet to convert anything as there is so much on here.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It is a problem Margaret, kids fed on takeaways or junk food generally don't like anything home cooked - it makes your job so hard.

Nice cooking there Uni, the sauce looks super.
