Love the cake Kimmy. I'll try and keep this in mind for 5yr old GD birthday in September.

Gert your doggie eats well. You love him lots.
Kimmy a lovely cake. I saw a similar one in a magazine a while ago. I love the idea of the kit kats or something similar.
Mab the food looks delicious. I have a No Fuss bread in the SC at the moment. My yesterday's loaf was a little under done. Easy to rectify. I am going to try to make some normal bread as well as the bread from the UK newsletter today. Then pizza bases for dinner tonight.
Yesterday I made a chocolate cake that Mum used to make a lot. We needed food to have with our coffee.
As you can see it is being enjoyed by all.

Mab is the Green Tomato Relish the one from Sally via Chelsea? I made that one last week and it is yummy.
Today I've made Quirky Jo's tomato sauce (ketchup), and Megan's lovely passata is simmering away now...when that's done I'm thinking relish might be in order. Was thinking of a green relish with all the heirloom tomatoes I have atm.

My/shared old Elvis broken coated Jack Russell would eat anything and every thing but my foisted on me rescue little short coat Jack Russell/Foxy Cross is a sugar baby. He has a "delicate disposition" so I am careful what. I feed him as he will suffer with crapola both in and out. Lots of veggies and chicken is best with a bit of raw meat . He hates getting his paws dirty with bones so they are a waste of time. No commercial stuff at all. He nearly vomits with the look and smell as I do. He is an odd bod as far as my dogs go. Can't work him out. It has taken nearly four years for him to come near me.. I shudder to think how some woman treated him in the past.

Gert I hate to see animals mistreated. I can understand how you feel about the 'commercial stuff'. Years and years ago we cared for a pedigree Border Collie pup for Dad for a couple of days. We had picked it up and had it at home until he could get down to the city to pick it up. The seller had given us this stinky, yucky stuff in a tin to give the pup. He didn't like it and it made us gag. We ended up ringing Dad to see what we could feed it. I can't remember what we gave it, only the stench and look of this tinned stuff.
The poor little pup cried for its first night, we ended up giving it a radio and waster bottle, then he was happy.
Despite all he grew up to be an intelligent and hard working sheep dog.

Our Henry dog just eats leftovers here. Every now and then we buy dry food. But it's been a few months.

My No Fuss SC loaf is lovely. It looked just like Mabs. I went to brown the top in the AF but it wouldn't fit, so I left it. Most of it was eaten for lunch.

Did you remove the basket Cookie and sit it on the base?
