Yummy, INAID! How many meals is that?

Seeing as DH isn't home until Wednesday night I think it should last us all week with one freezer meal. Enough meat loaf for two meals with mash and veggies. We had some nasi Goreng and Singapore noodles tonight and hardly made a dent. Also made Helene's apple praline cake. Yum!

That apple cake looks divine, especially with custard and ice cream.

Not today but last night I tried TMX poached steamed eggs for the first time .. One was a little bit overdone and I'm still having issues with my baking paper falling apart and having to very carefully fish it all out, but the other was perfect so this method is a real game changer (read: most definitely how I'll be cooking them from now on!) ..

I combined it with some left over 'Healthy Roast Chicken' (cooked in the TMX the day before - Huge Thanks to the member's who shared this recipe with me), it was delish!  And a nice salad of mixed greens, dill pickle, and tomato ..

Sooo good that I had it for lunch, and then again for dinner lol  :D

That looks great juicy fruit. Re the baking paper I am wondering if you are using a name brand . I have given up on store  brands for that reason. I find if I use Glad Baking Paper it holds up very well and in fact if I use it for some baking I can use it twice or more.

Actually it is Glad 'cooking paper', is that the same thing you use?

The second time I tried doing them in ceramic ramekins, with a little salami (+s&p) as we'd finished off the chook ..

This took a lot longer of course (10min steam using V/sp1 and already boiled water) but was an improvement .. I'm going to try and find some silicone cups next time I go over the hill (to bigger town), or a different brand of paper as I'm really getting into the all-in-one meals ..

Juicy fruit. I actually made a mistake. Had to have a look as I was surprised it was not Glad I use but Multiplex Baking paper. It is quite strong and reusable in some instances. Maybe 35/45 GSM

I have silicone egg cups which work a treat or if you find a cheap silicone muffin pan you can cut some of the cups out to make  individual  ones. I think my cups were not cheap.

Mine is called Multixbake, sounds the same as yours Gert - no problems with mine either.  It's cheaper than Glad but does the job for me.

That looks lovely Juicyfruit. Well done on the poached eggs.

I felt like some seeded bread so I have Gayle's SC loaf going at the moment. I may have to eat it all as there is no room in the freezer.  ;D ;D ;D
