I made Tenina's Auntie Debbie's Banana Bread this afternoon and at the moment have some rolls rising for hamburgers tonight. I used Isi's recipe, halved it and added some grated cheese, a chilli and one confit garlic clove.

Lovely cooking Judy :)

I made some sour cream pastry again today with great success.  Thank you Emme. :D  I used half the mixture to make an egg & bacon pie and an apple & raspberry tart.  The rest is in the fridge.

Sorry Gert but I used light sour cream again as that was what was all I had.  I will do better next time. ;D

I bought Alyces dariole moulds and made her steamed chocolate puddings, ganache, and custard. Yum, easy. DD made a rhubarb and apple crumble. We had roast lamb and veg for dinner.

For the first time in a great many months I have had a chance to have a good, solid cooking weekend, and it's been great!

Made CADA, Farfallina's Ratatouille which fits nicely into our 5:2 diet, as does The Vermins' Red Lentil and Kidney Bean Soup, I also made slow cooker corn and red capsicum chowder from ohmyveggies.com blog, Chookie's Fresh tomato, carrot and celery chutney - the colour of mine turned out fairly brown, which I think is due to the walnuts (I put in 1/2 a cup) it tasted delicious regardless of the colour, Cauliflower in a Cashew Sauce from VeganDad's blog and, finally I am about to make flourless double chocolate peanut butter mini blender muffins from averiecooks - apparently only 100 calories each so I don't need to feel guilty when I eat them!!

Phew, my poor old TMX hasn't worked so hard in ages - I just hope it enjoyed itself as much as I have!

Wow Cuilidh, I'm tired just reading what you have cooked.  Well done. :)

I'm about to make a slow cooked Irish Stew for the freezer.

Made a Egg & Bacon Pie from a Annabel Langbein recipe and forgot to put the potato in. Too late now to add, will teach me to concentrate more on what I am doing  :-))
