Thank goodness I am not alone - I don't tend to miss out ingredients, though - I put them on one side before I use them then on the other once they are used so it is obvious if I have missed something out.  My problem is not reading the recipe correctly - or jumping one - or two - or even three - steps ahead then wondering why things are just not quite as they should be!!

Trying a few "new" recipes from old cookbooks today.

a 5 seed bread (fairly similar to EDC, but less water, and the dough is more like what I'd call a typical bread dough)
Malted caramel slice
Orange and date muffins (uses a whole orange, but unlike the whole orange cake recipe also has half a cup of milk so a much less dry batter)

We will see how they all come out!!
I think I put all the ingredients in today  ;)

Made a batch of debetha's Scrummy Lemon Melt Cookies.  Very nice and they got the thumbs up from DH.

Love those cookies Mab. It's hard to only eat one.
I've been cooking some recipes from some of the thermomix blogs with limited success. Have made raw donut balls (they are giving me wicked indigestion), lazy caramel slice (caramel ended up on the bottom, not the top) and 120 biscuits which are delicious but have loads of sugar, butter and condensed milk, making them extremely naughty.

I made some quick flat cakes to have with Roasted Pumpkin soup. They were lovely.

It sure is!  I remember not all that long ago I was so nervous of trying non-tmx recipes.  I still have the odd muck-up but no complaints from the product testers  ;)

My fave from yesterday's effort was the orange and date muffins  ;D

Just bread on the plan for today - cheesymite scrolls for the lunchboxes.

Helene's 1 minute bread and mini wholemeal loaf baked in mini crockpot.  The large loaf is actually more than double the size of the small one.

Chocolate peppermint slice, Mars bar slice and 30sec orange cake for kids' hip hop class this afternoon. Already have bliss balls and raw caramel slice in freezer for the people who don't eat "naughty" treats lol.

They look delicious Chookie.
I have made citrus curd ( another good way to use up eggs). And then made fruit spread with the remains of the lemons and limes, not sure about that, a bit tart for me I think but haven't lost much and DH likes tart marmalade.  We will see.
