Jo, all sounds nice.  Have you tried Rhubarb and berry jam.?
Day 2, made Tomato Soup.  Love this recipe and so easy in TMX.

You are certainly having a rhubarby time Jo. Chookie the soup looks very tasty and of course healthy.

Great cooking Jo.
I made chookies plum and raspberry jam. Think I've got the preserve bug. Very tasty.

There is nothing like home made jam. Yours looks lovely Kimmy.

This afternoon  I made the Strawberry Meringue Pie/tart ?? From KIS. We've had it before and it is lovely. I also cooked rice, potatoes and eggs to make salads tomorrow. Next was Uni's Olive Crackers. They are so easy and so tasty. We ate most of them so I will do some more tomorrow.

Kimmyh, looks good.  I have the jam bug also.  Can't fit any more into cupboard. Was given a Sally Wise book for Xmas and am very surprised at the amount of sugar she uses.  Too much for our taste.
Cookie nice cooking. I'm not making Uni's biscuits as I will eat the lot.

Going to play around with crumpet recipe and make a large one in the pan. Then cut into wedges.

I thought of that too Chookie as I only have small crumpet rings.  I have a small 16 cm round pan that I thought would do the job instead.  I will be interested in your experiment  ;D

The jam looks so good - one of my favourites. Still waiting for mum's plum tree to come to the party for this year's plum things though.

I made some sundried tomato dip and also Black Olive Pate. The recipe for that is on the forum. I also made Brown Rice Salad, ready for lunch tomorrow.

Brown rice salad is one of my favourites cookie.
More jam today and used some in a bakewell cake similar to chookies Belgium teacake.

Kimmyh,  that looks absolutely delicious.
Judy the large SD Crumpet was a success.  Have posted some photos in 'Dinner' thread. Good thing is you make 6 serves in one go. Found it better to use a diffuser , even though the pan had a thick base.  I also set the top under the grill with the thicker one. Need to make sure it is well cooked before you set the top. The wedges toasted up nicely.

Thanks Cookie, I'll try my little round pan and keep the flame down - it would only be 1 largish serve I think, the equivalent to 2 normal sized crumpets.
