They do look yummy, Chookie.

I loved LFK's first book. i bought it because I have a young grandchild. I've made quite a few of the recipes that are in the toddler section for us and loved them, so I think I'd like her second book. I'm trying not to buy any more recipe books, though!!

Today I made sausage mince and then sausage rolls, tomato ketchup (Mumdeep's recipe, doubled), Midnight biscuits from the Recipe Community, ANZAC biscuits from one of my baking books and a sultana cake from the same book. Had to make the sultana cake in the KA as the sauce was still cooking. Oh, how I long for a second bowl for the TM5!!

Going out for tea to the pub for Mother's Day Roast beef and vegies with Yorkshire pud all cooked by an English chef!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I'm at a wedding today and have just ducked home at photo intermission time to make some cream puffs for tomorrow. So happy they have risen up and puffed out. Can't wait to have one tomorrow after lunch  :P  fingers crossed I won't have a hangover either, as we're getting up early to go and see mum and dad in the country for morning tea before going to DH's brothers for lamb on a spit.

That's the first time I've heard of someone rushing home to do some baking during a  wedding break CP, have a great day tomorrow - it all sounds wonderful.

What do you mean Uni - grate it or  bash it with a meat mallet?  I have a baby grater just for my nutmeg.
