Yesterday afternoon I made a boiled Fruit Cake using the thermomix and the Dream Pot. It turned out beautifully.

I didn't know that either Uni. I just grate what I need. It would be useful when you need a teaspoon or more of nutmeg.

The fruit cake looks lovely.

Today I am making pies in the Sunbeam pie maker using Chicken and vegetable pie filling from the recipe community.

Lovely cake Cookie, nice with a cuppa.  :D

I tried Fundj's method of hitting the nutmeg then grating.  It makes the job much quicker, will use from now on.  ;D

Made my lime marmalade after all the advice I received from here a few days ago; actually it was 5 fruit marmalade and I just love it. I used 2 oranges, 2 limes, 1 lemon, 1 mandarin and 1 green apple and 400 gr sugar instead of 800 like the EDC; used the EDC method. I just cooked it a few more minutes and was very pleased. Thanks for all the help.

Cookie what recipe does DH use for his creamed rice. I have just made your little steamed puddings in the Varoma and they look great. Custard cooking at this moment.

Troupie he made another one this afternoon. He uses 1 litre milk, 50g sugar cooks this for 8 minutes at 100 degrees. He then adds 220g medium grain rice and cooks it at 90 degrees for 30 minutes. Speed 2 for both. It's in one of the books. We have reduced the sugar quite a lot but it is sweet enough for us.

I'm pleased you made the steamed puddings. I'm thinking of making an apple sponge in the Varoma while we are up here.

Lovely fruit cake cookie.
The marmalade sounds good Troupie.

I made vegan vegetable rissoles - they held together really well and got the nod of approval from DH.
