Tonight I made skinnymixers Curry Mee Laksa from her new cook book a little taste of Asia. Making the paste was time consuming but there is enough in the freezer for 3 more meals. I also made the Sambal Orlek as DH liked his a lot hotter than me.
It was delicious, another recipe I will be making again.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

These ones were rolled up as scrolls, then put into the baking dish and left to rise again before cooking. There is also a sprinkling of cheese on it (the browny burnt looking bits). I use no-name flour, but I'm always pleased with the end result, particularly if I can afford another rise before cooking - for pizzas, breads etc.

Spersephone, love that name.  Will certainly post recipe. Even better today than yesterday. Very easy to make and handy to have in freezer.

Will have to take back what I said about the Clean Raspberry Jamm.  Did a taste test tonight and the seeds were not an issue. I did add 3 teaspoons of artificial sweetener.  Perfect.

CC, that lime pickle sounds interesting. I am being given a Xmas pud this year so won't cook one for the first time in 30 years.
Marina, what a cook up you are having. Board bean and tomato and cumin? Is this an Indian type recipe?

We are having friends for lunch today.  Cooking the Chicken and rice from the Yum Cha cooking class, with steamed green veggies. Peppermint Crisp or/and fruit salad to follow.
I made the Spring Onion Pancakes .  Very nice, Ral loved them but I thought they weren't as good as the ones at the cooking class.  Will have another go .

Just finished Tenina's Creamy Avocado Pasta - yet another successful and very tasty meal this weekend (oh, how I love having more than 24 hours at home to cook up food for the week)..

Chookie, the Broad Bean Tomato and cumin salad was in a Delicious magazine and is a recipe from Kepos Street Kitchen (in Sydney, I think).  Not sure if I can put the recipe up here so PM me if you would like it.  Very quick and and really nice.
