Did anyone see the item in the Age newspaper about storing bread?   Not in the fridge , but in a brown paper bag or freeze it.
Made 3 new bread recipes yesterday, only one a keeper. The one with the pine nuts I will slice thinly and turn into crisps, the healthy rolls not good enough.  The Rye bread recipe from Worlds Best Diet book is lovely.  Will post recipe.
Today making a smoked salmon dip and preparing veggies for roast duck lunch tomorrow. Peppermint crisp ice cream, Isi's Light Coffee cream. If time allows, Macadamia nut and Tasty cheese biscuits.

So far Thermobexta's Smoky Baked Beans in Smoky Tomato Sauce, bodyandsoul's Sweet Potato Frittata a 5.2 diet recipe, Quick Chickpea Casserole and, if I am feeling energetic enough Tenina's Creamy Avocado Pasta and another 5.2 recipe, Moroccan Spiced Stew.  Also lining up the strawberry liqueur and conserve, but I have got a couple of days off this weekend so I may spread all of this over the next couple of days.

You've been busy Chookie!
Will certainly be interested in the Rye bread recipe.
It's not often we get brown paper bags anymore. So when I do I keep them till they become shabby.
I hadn't heard about storing bread, however I use them for ripening bananas or avocados.

Got everything done by 2.00 pm except for the veggies. The Macadamia and cheese biscuits are easy and tasty. Can make raw mix and keep in freezer and just slice off some to bake as required.     Will post recipe as they would be good for Xmas. Think I might make the Spring onion Pancakes from the cooking class. DIL has made them and says they are good.
Made the Clean Raspberry jam. Too many seeds for my liking.  Think I might cook raspberries and strain them and use juice. Quite like the Chia for thickening.

As for getting a lot done, I get going early and Ral does a lot to help me. This morning he has done some ironing and hung out the washing. He has also taste tested the Peppermint Crisp ice cream. ,!

A lot of lovely baking happening. I'll look forward to the Rye Bread recipe too Chookie. I'm partial to nice rye bread.

Gina of The Passionate Pantry does work with Tenina. She and Sarah Moran are listed as Tenina's team.

I made a loaf of the Classic Bread http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=16597.0
and used up a little bit of shortcrust pastry I had leftover from a quiche the other night to make jam tarts. Old fashioned but very popular here. I used some apricot jam I had made using frozen apricots and some Raspberry and Cherry Jam I made a while ago.

That reminds me, my consultant offered me some sourdough starter, I must take her up on it. Today I made the herb and garlic pull apart, some chocolate ice cream, garlic pizza and tzatziki dip. Oh, and the chicken stock paste.
