I bet DD's work buddies love you Cookie.
I've been going round & round in circles in my head trying to decide on dessert for Christmas and finally settled on Swedish Icecream Cake yet again. Hopefully will get it done today.

This recipe is my Christmas Pressie to all Forum members.  They taste lovely, have real WoW factor and are not difficult. They can be made ahead and reheated in a warm oven. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=16881.0

Chookie you are such a kind, caring person. Thank you.

The Chocolate Bark broke up beautifully this morning. I was pleased with it. It is so good to have DD'S work to send things to. It was better when DH did relief teaching too as I used to send some with him. I get to make things, taste them and someone else eats them for me.  ;D

Cookie, you are so generous with the baking that you do.  It is nice to be able to share. Also nothing like home made food.

We love scotch eggs Chookie. Very kind of you to share the recipe. Where do we find it?

Salads, Michele. These are a lot healthier than Scotch eggs. Think you might like them.

Thanks Chookie for your kindness, will take a close look at that one.
I got my Swedish Icecream cake in the freezer, made Hazelnut nougat for DH and got some burgers made for tonight's dinner.

I made Creme Brûlée from the TMX 5 Basic Cook Book. It is awful. The custard boiled and therefore is not silky smooth. Probably would be OK if cooked for less time.

I made some Christmas Shortbread this afternoon. We really enjoy it. I use the recipe from the old Festive book.

I got up early this morning and cooked a quiche for tonights dinner and then some red beet I was given.  Yesterday I made a batch of shortbread
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, go girl.  All looks good.
We are having guests for lunch tomorrow.   I must be mad!!
Have made the Brown Rice Salad from here. Looks and tastes delish.
Have made a bean salad with onion , radish and celery added. Used a light yoghurt dressing fron TMX 5 basic cookbook. A bit lacking in character but when added to salad, OK.
I have set the Light Swedish Frozen  Cheese Cake in a Tovolo ice cream container and will serve it on top of gingerbread crumbs and dress with home grown Raspberries and white peach crescents.
Still have to make the Smoked Salmon Dip.
