Sarah, the Duck salad was at Beebe's in Bendigo. It was on the Daily special for $15.
Where do you live? We are in the Macedon Ranges but have our car serviced in Bendigo. It is easier for us to drive to Bendigo than to Melbourne.

I'm in northern suburbs of Melbourne, but my mum lives in Bendigo. I'll have to check them out!

Sarah, when we lived in Melbourne we lived in Ascot Vale. There are some fab food shops in the general area. I stock up on Italian. Middle Eastern and Chinese supplies when in Melbourne.

I tried a new fruit cake recipe yesterday and it was a disaster.  So today I have Kimmy's Fruit Cake in the oven at the moment and it's looking good. Photo later.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Bad luck about the gingerbread house Sarah. I don't know if you saw it but someone put a toy dinosaur near a broken gingerbread house and it looked as though the dinosaur had wrecked it. Clever thinking.

I've just finished creating a chocolate mess in the kitchen. It is Tenina's Crio Roasted Chocolate and Pistachio Bark. I had a bit of a problem with toasted nuts and coconut oil etc so I just winged it after that. I put a few freeze dried strawberries and pineapple on it as I didn't want to put coconut. I used 2 Lindt 70% chocolates and 2 Lindt Raspberry Intense ones so it should have a small taste of raspberry.

Sort of fun Judy. My washing up water was very chocolatey. It's in the fridge firming up now. I don't think I would make this particular one again.

I like her Caramelized white chocolate with pistachios and craisins. It's really thin and so tasty with the sea salt sprinkled over the top at the end.

I love that too and should have made that instead. DD is taking it to work tomorrow as they have one of many Christmas functions.

It looks as though that particular Tenina recipe was challenging for you Cookie. ;) I'm sure it will be well received by DD's colleagues tomorrow. :)
