K ATIE., the Sticky Date recipe is for 12 serves so a good one. But definitely needs double sauce.
Will try the tomato soup. Thanks.
Enjoy Canberra. Will be cold. Plenty to see.

I made Cranberry and Orange Granola. I made the clusters version using spelt flour. It tastes really nice.

Have a good time in Canberra K Atie.

Some more everyday bread and pulled beef to have with Bao buns for dinner.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

These are the Bao buns I made to have with the pulled beef the other night. I enjoyed it but DH said he preferred bread cooked properly, not steamed. The recipe was from recipe community.

A lovely looking crusty loaf Chookie. I've never heard of Bao Buns Cookie.I'll have a look at the recipe ;)

It's our last ever Upholstery class tomorrow. Our teacher is retiring to concentrate on her Botanical Painting. Our group is having a group lunch to celebrate and I offered to take along two Salads. I've made a Beetroot Salad and have Recipe Eats Lentil Salad partially prepared. Cooked the lentils in the basket in 1500g of water in the TM for 40mins/100c/ speed 3 and whilst still hot stirred in half of the dressing. In the morning I'll prepare and add the other ingredients. I also said I would make Portuguese Tarts for morning tea. It's going to be an early start to get those in the oven LOL  I also made Tenina's Citrus Curd. One for my Upholstery Teacher because she loves the stuff. The other is a Thank You present for a friend who gave me a bench for the garden. The other will be for Todd's owner to cheer her up.

Lots of cooking there, CC.

You will miss your upholstery class - will you continue on doing this at home, just by yourself ... or perhaps with some of your friends from the class?

I love the look of that lentil salad, must put that onto my 'to do' list.

Enjoy your final day with your lovely friends Denise, in life we all move on to other things but I'm sure you'll keep in touch and with the lovely pieces you've made, your memories of days spent with these ladies will never be forgotten.  Your food contribution will go down really well and thanks for trying the lentil salad, I saw that recipe the other day and wondered how it would taste.  I tend to stay clear of lentil anything (except soup) but the reviews for that recipe are excellent.

I'm another who looked positively at the lentil salad. I hope your lunch is fun Denise and not too sad. Will you try and do another upholstery class?

No cooking here until later in the day. I took the rye SD loaf out of the fridge and it is now rising in the tin. It will take all day, so I will cook it when I get home.
