I love it too Marina. The other day I used an Italian soup mix and that was nice.

It is so handy in this cooler weather.

I made some of the Jaffa Mousse from TMix+ that uses avocado. I may have licked the spatula. I made 3 serves from it instead of 2. It is high in calories but most of that would be the avocado.

Sounds nice Cookie. You mat have got 4 serves if you hadn't licked the spoon.
We are also cutting down the size of our serves. I serve our meals on smaller plates. This helps.

Very true Chookie.
As well as my Jaffa Mousse and Chookie's ABC nut butter I made a Kale salad. I was looking at Jamberie's Facebook site (What Amber Ate) and she had it on there. I'd bought the Kale salad ready made so I tried this. We enjoyed it.

Today is a day for soup - I will be making Spiced butternut soup, tomato and lentil, minestrone and carrot, lentil and spinach.  They are all 5:2 diet recipes, so guess who starts 5:2 again next week!!!

Good luck with it Marina, it's a great idea to have those fast day meals in the freezer in advance.

We found the Jaffa mousse rich too , less coco next time . DD Made a small batch of  choc chip biscuits , seem to be only 3 left ! I have made beef and potato pies for Lunch from last nights beef pie mix , no pastry . Then a potato and Leek soup , from bcb original , for travelling to Canberra on Monday ( leaving at 5am 😞 ) also tomato soup Dani Valent , Entertaining book . Made up some hamburgers for dinner tonight . Lemon and tangelo cake again , once it is cooled I will have to hide it so we have it for road trip . Now have some rhubarb in the fridge what to do with it ? Could I slowly cook it in the oven for dessert ?

Stewed rhubarb with apple & strawberries from the EDC is very nice Katie.
You've been cooking up a storm lately.  Enjoy your trip away.

You have certainly been busy K Atie. Don't freeze in Canberra.

Only dinner cooked here tonight. I've just peeked at the Tomato soup recipe K Atie, guess what I have added to dinner tonight? Thanks.

All looks good girls.
I can recommend RecipeTinEats Stir fry sauce. Very nice.
DD had a family lunch at new house. I took a Sticky Date Pud. Used the chip . Made double sauce.
Had 2 ripe bananas that needed using up. Added 1 cup Chocolate Chips and 1 cup walnuts.

Judy I did the rhubarb in the oven , squeeze of lemon juice and castor sugar. Then had some tangelo and lemon juice left over from the cake I made earlier add as well oops , very sour baked rhubarb . The kids are hungry all the time , have to say I am looking forward to not thinking about food for a few days at lest to cook . I do love to cook but a break will be nice . Freezing in Canberra , not sure what DH was thinking , but any time away is good . Cookie that is my favorite soup , Dani's tomato one . Achookwoman what a great idea for the stickydate pudding , will look at that . Might fill the empty tummies in this household .
