Great looking loaf Chookie.

My courgette plants are prolific at the moment so made Chocolate Courgette Cake. DH is enjoying it, haven't told him what the main ingredient is in the cake LOL.

It ate well. Will have a slice for breakfast with a fresh home grown egg.
Think I will make some sushi and a Japanese dish using pork slices and ginger.

I got all inspired to cook after popping in here. Wanted to make some bread to go with the soup DH made last night. Had a browse through the bread thread and made potato bread, a recipe Judy posted in 2013.
It looks OK. Thinking positively and fingers crossed it won't have to be transferred to the Oops page when it's cut.

It looks lovely and crusty Mich. I don't think I have made that bread yet.

So excited, the bread is actually OK. Was so grateful to have a sucess that I made buttermilk pikelets from the Basic Cook Book.

'Leftover house' was at it again today, ( as Ral calls my cooking).
I had 1/2 a bottle of home made stir fry sauce and 10 thin, small pork slices. I rolled the pork with a filling of hazelnuts, apricots, fresh sage and an egg. The filling was zapped in the TMX.
I the stuck tooth picks through the rolled slices and browned them. Then poured sauce over. Cooking slowly in oven. Funny combination. Hope it tastes ok.
We had heated up Salmon cakes for lunch. Left over from yesterday.
