I tried a new mayonnaise recipe today to go with an egg salad - aquafaba, mustard, white wine vinegar, EVOO and light vege oil.  I was surprised that it turned out well - it went into the egg salad, I had also made a quinoa, chickpea and various other vegetables salad and it worked well with that mixure as well.

We needed bread and I hadn't taken the SD starter out of the fridge. I remembered on Amanda's blog that she had a Molasses Loaf, so I decided to give it a try. It makes 2  loaves so I halved it and used the thermomix to make it. It looks great and I will cut it when it cools a bit.

I have a seeded Classic Loaf rising and I have also made a rye SD loaf from Sophia. You start it the night before and make a very stiff mix using some starter, flour and rye flour.

All sounds inspirational.
Bought some chocolate chip biscuits from the supermarket.  They are awful.  Wonder if the Chook would eat them.
SD loaf on the way.  Might make a SD fruit loaf.  Haven’t had one for ages.
Also going to experiment with SD in the Bread Machine I got from the Swap.
Yesterday a made what I am calling a Happy Loaf.  It contains Hemp seed.

I've seen the Hemp seed around Chookie. Did it make you happy?

My brother is coming for lunch tomorrow. We are having soup and bread and Quirky Jo's banana icecream to follow. A healthy lunch as he and his wife are diabetic and need to take medication, so I will be good for all of us. DH has requested Minestrone soup. I will wiz some No Fuss rolls up in the morning....starting early.

Cookie,  the Hemp seed didn’t seem to add much to our mood or bread.    Very expensive experiment.
Yesterday made a SD olive loaf, good. Also experimented with a SD loaf in the Bread Machine, disaster. Will add yeast to dough and make a loaf.   Don’t like to waste anything.  Will have another go at SD in Bread Machine using a different method.
