When I make pies in the pie maker, I save the pastry trimmings, freeze it in the blue plastic that separates the sheets. When I have enough, I use it to make more pies. Today I made 12 apple an 2 Ratatouille pies.I am straining the liquid off the cooked Quinces. There is a lot of pulp leftover. I am wondering if I put it through the mouli. Could I use it to make Quince paste. I could make leather out of it.
