Nice cooking girls.  The Chow Mein which I still often make also has a bit of curry powder.  I will only make it when I have fresh French beans.  I use the leftover for spring rolls.  Spray with oil and cook in AF.
Big cook up today for visitors tomorrow.  Made mini garlic roll and small loaf, flummery , roasted pumpkin, 2 lots of Cauli cheese, and Chicken Loaf from my Blog which was for Dinner tonight. It is the most popular recipe and I wanted to see why.  It is easy, tasty and cheap. I used Turkey mince from Aldi and the whole meal with rice and green bean came out at less than $2 a serve.  https://achookwoman.blogspot.com/search?q=Chicken+loaf

The bread looks wonderful Chookie. I have taken some chicken mince out of the freezer to make your chicken loaf.

Everyone loves those little rolls.  I spray the tin with Garlic flavoured oil and when reheating, pop blobs of garlic butter around the rolls.
Hope you all enjoy the Chicken loaf.  I used minced turkey from Aldi and hardly  any fat came out. I baked it in a rectangular Pyrex dish. I also used a bought $1.50 jar of mild salsa.

Judy, thanks for doing the link.
Today I made 3 small loaves in tins 16x 11 cm.  from left, cheese and vegemite, plain and a fruit loaf.  A slice is the perfect size for a poached egg.

Nice bread Chookie, great size.  :)

Dinner is left overs today but I've made an old Minestrone soup recipe that I hadn't made since 2012  :o  This is partly for DH's 2 nightshifts starting tomorrow and freezer stash for him.
What I did differently with this is I cooked the pasts separately (used macaroni today) and that will only be added just before heating up a serve of the soup.  It's to stop the pasta from sucking up all the liquid, much better this way.

I also made a Thermobliss cake 'lemon poppyseed', lInc below.  I didn't use her frosting amounts, I only used 34g little packet of light Philly cream cheese, 50g butter, 150g icing sugar, some lemon zest and juice.  There was a bit left over so I can't even imagine using a 250g block and the rest.  Was really nice though.

I love the little loaves of assorted breads Chookie, a great idea.
Julie the colour of your minestrone looks so vibrant and I agree with you re the amount of icing needed for the cake.  You would have had heaps left over.

Cute mini loaves Chookie. JulieO I always find the quantities given for icing are far too much. Your cooking looks delicious.
Today I made Chookie’s Rum and Raisin Banana cake. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=15376.0

Baking cakes seems popular at the moment, that’s a lovely Chookie cake cookie.

Julie that soup looks so good.
Cookie, I have been looking at that cake recipe but know that if I make it I will want to eat it.
We had to pick GD up from school so I took the little cheese and vegemite loaf for her for afternoon tea.  She demolished most of it in the car going home.

Chookie, your little loaves and rolls look good.

Cookie, your cake looks good too.  Banana cakes are one of the few cakes that are not popular at our place.

Julie, both your Minestrone Soup and cake look good.  I might make some soup this afternoon as DD is coming tomorrow and we can have it for lunch.

I made another Date Loaf yesterday morning so that I would have something to give to the NBN people with a cuppa.  Now that they are not coming we will have to eat it ourselves.

When I make pies in the pie maker, I save the pastry trimmings, freeze it in the blue plastic that separates the sheets.  When I have enough, I use it to make more pies. Today I made 12 apple an 2 Ratatouille pies.
I am straining the liquid off the cooked Quinces.  There is a lot of pulp leftover.  I am wondering if I put it through the mouli. Could I use it to make Quince paste.  I could make leather out of it.
