Making Trudy’s lemon muffins for the staff at local chemist shop. They deliver when asked or prepare scripts and I don’t have to wait . They have been stressed out with all this COVID activity. It brightens their day. Little effort for me.

I attempted some Icecream today. It was Biscoff flavoured. I used the condensed milk recipe. However I beat the cream and condensed milk too much and it sort of curdled. It tastes t looks revolting. I think I may chuck it and try again.

Cookie, that is strange. I made icecream by mixing leftover custard, low-fat yogurt that I made in the TMX and some cream and vanilla. Mixed in TMX and processed in icecream machine. No added sugar and tastes lovely.
I must say that the ice making machine has been working well this hot weather. Was able to give the Woolies delivery man some iced water to takeaway. Gert I see you do the same. They really appreciate it.

Bought a packet of Continental rice and Quinoa base. Awful. Gave it to the chooks.
Made SD crumpets. Thin ones. Very nice.
Not much cooking today. Chooks laying like mad. Might make My Favourite Quiche.

I’ve tried candying (?) some fresh cherries. Also have an apple cake in the oven.
I don’t know if I should take the cherries out of the syrup and let them dry or not.

Not much cooking going on this weekend. Salsa verde and QJ's vegetables (she does chicken) with cashew satay sauce.

At a guess I would say Quirky Jo. She used to post a lot on here when she first started out.

That slice looks nice Cookie.
I made a Belgium Lemon Teacake this morning and used stewed apple and rhubarb in place of the lemon filling. I now have 8 pasties in the oven and then will cook 4 turnovers using the left over apple rhubarb mixture.
