It sure does Trudy, and washing up.
I went to buy some bread flours today and the lady persuaded me to try a North African mix. It has Nigella seeds in it and I think sesame seeds too. Both of which I love. I have a loaf rising at the moment, as well as a Classic loaf and a Rye SD.
I spent so long looking for the recipe of the Cherry little cakes yesterday that I didn't have time to make them.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I took some fruit cake out of the freezer instead.

I made some apricot jam and also some tomato jam. I looked in Mum’s CWA book and used that recipe.

Made neighbours a 1 minute loaf.
Making another overnight. Leaving it in the TMX bowl overnight. Will see how it goes.
Trudy, that all sounds nice.

DS brought home a large bag of blood plums and lemons, far more than I need.  I made 8 jars plum and raspberry jam over the weekend.  The rest I will share with a friend.

1 minute bread left in TMX bowl overnight not successful. Maybe other factors.
White peaches have come in at a rush.   Beautiful to eat fresh but too delicate for preserves. Go well with Raspberries but birds ate those. May make a cake with them and rhubarb. Queen of puddings also ok.
Mab, saw lemons for $2 each yesterday.

I have seen them for that price too Chookie, I think it is terrible the price the supermarket sells them for.  If I don't have any lemons I just go to the op shop they sell them for 5 cents each or a bag full for $1 and the money stays local.

Mab, you are lucky. I bought some bottled lemon juice, but it isn’t the same.
Started baking with peaches today.
Made tarts . This one is for our neighbour to take to work.

Yum I made a batch of No Fuss rolls for my brother, an apricot slice from Cookidoo and some almond shortbread biscuits from Cookidoo. I will make up a plate of mixed biscuits for brother to take with the rolls.

Cookie, lucky brother.
Have been experimenting with new bread recipe. Looks like a winner. Will post when perfect.
Made small peach tarts. Puff base, used Portuguese tart pastry method as gives a thin base. Peached and custard topping. Heat very well in AF as it really crisps the pastry.
Also made Curry puffs.and a loaf using chestnut flour.
