Yummy. No cooking here as it's too hot.
Trudy I liked the North African bread flour. I made a loaf using only that and it was very fluffy and light. I also made some rolls for my brother and used 50g oatbran, 100g wholemeal flour and they were also very fluffy.

This is the Apricot Slice I made from Cookidoo. I didn’t have quite enough apricots so popped some dried apple in.

Little jelly cakes and mushroom biscuits and a savoury filling for little tarts to be finished tomorrow.  These are for afternoon tea tomorrow.

Mab, lovely looking little cakes.
Cookie, nice healthy rolls with all that fibre.
Lots of preserves. Yesterday made 48 sausage rolls for GS.  They are having a Top 100 party. All doing RAT tests prior .

New bread method good.
Make favourite bread recipe.
Flatten out as much as possible. Cut in half. Press one 1/2 into baking tin and spray with oil.
Place other half on top of first layer in tin.
Using a pastry scraper, cut square shapes through the dough.
Let double and bake  at 200 20/25 minutes.
This makes square rolls that are easy to split.

The cakes and biscuits are gorgeous Margaret, it’s going to be a great afternoon tea.
Chookie you sound as if you’re flat out in the kitchen, I don’t now where you get your energy from.
I’ve not been to a supermarket for over 2 weeks, making do with what I’ve got on hand but will likely go sometime next week.

Your cooking looks delicious Margaret. I love jelly cakes. I made some Healthy Biscuits from Cookidoo yesterday. They were to put in the freezer but they didn't all get there. They are lovely.

I also made some White Peach jam from Chookie’s recipe on here.

Our bread supply was dangerously low so I have made a rye SD, a Classic loaf and some No Fuss rolls for lunches for us.

Farfallina's Zucchini Cream Sauce (with the addition of some cashews and a longer blending time at speed 9), Indian potato salad and a mushroom and capsicum goulash.  I am tossing up doing the Belgian Tea Cake, but I am not sure if I can handle the heat with an oven going.

I’ve got a Costco chicken carcass on the stove making stock - my SIL is over from Melbourne and I always score one when he’s in town.

Cookie, yum yum Lamingtons. Haven’t had one for ages.
Prawns for Australia Day.  Made a nice dipping sauce. Simple. Just mixed equal amounts of TMX Mayo with my Plum Vinegar.
Made 20 jars of Plum and Cranberry Jam. The Cranberries were fresh/ frozen. Plenty to give away as gifts during the year. Several already gone.
The bucket of Plums all used now.
Will make another loaf of Yogurt bread today. ( Rals favourite at the moment). Based on JulieO’s Sour Cream bread.  It stays moist for ages. I make it with Laucke Grain Mix and add lots of seeds on top.
