Giving the TMX a workout today. More citrus marmalade. More SD crumpets also. Cook both at same time. More cream of celery soup. Added marinated goats cheese ( Meredith) and parsley to the last serve. I was told yesterday that my SD crumpets were better than those served at a local cafe. There are now 3 lots of commercial SD crumpets available in Ballarat. ( that I know of.) one lot comes from NSW. $2 each. The ingredients for 8 costs $3.

Thanks Margaret. It is a very sloppy mix but easy to make. It was delicious.

Made waffles with boys from next door. They weighed the ingredients into the TMX and also cooked them. And of course ate them. Must post this recipe as I have fiddled with the Jamie Oliver original and think this is better. Will post on my Blog now that it is working again.

I haven’t made waffles for ages. I think it is time to rectify it.

I made two Cobb loaves today. A friend was here when I did the first one and I forgot to put the yeast in so I had to do another. I also made a fruit loaf with nuts and chocolate and a Classic loaf.

Several friends have just purchased Bread Machines and asked if I had any interesting recipes. I found a book put together by two American woman called Bread Machine Majic. The online book is very amateurish.and difficult to use. However the recipes lovely and very different. Many recipes contain Rolled oats. I searched the internet and have bought a print version. Looking forward to it.

I made a toasted oat loaf today. It didn’t rise much so I’ve popped it in the fridge over night. Tapatalk likes me again - here are yesterday’s photos.

Nice cooking ladies.
Yesterday I made a pot of vegetable soup using all the odds and ends in the fridge. I also made the Pasty Slice from Cookidoo. Everyone liked it.
