It’s disappointing when that happens Margaret.

Today I came across an old recipe of mine and only made it because I had all the ingredients on hand. It may go home with my DD when her and the kids come to visit tomorrow. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=13503.0

I made a Classic loaf, a muesli bar slice and a rum and raisin fruit loaf today. I’ve also a SD loaf in the fridge.

Great baking cookie, that twist looks amazing.

I made some savoury muffins to take down to DD’s for the grand final, unfortunately I picked the wrong tub of flour and made them with plain flour. I wondered why they were strange but soon realised when I put the container back into the pantry. In the bin they went.  As I want to take something  down there I went shopping and bought the ingredients for these sausage rolls from Taste https://www.taste.com.au/recipes/mini-caramelised-onion-sausage-rolls/8rijn4qk
They aren’t as dark as they look so will reheat OK.

Enjoy the Grand Final Judy. I doubt we will be watching but I will keep an eye on the score. I made some skinnymixer brownies with caramel today. They are a little bit like mochi and have 147 calories in them. I snuck one and its ok. I can still taste egg in them, perhaps it will be better when they are cool.

Cleaned out the fridge. Made soup from need to use up veggies. Added Pumpkin, apple, celery, onion, zucchini and stock cube. Steamed Asparagus on top as it was cooking. Blitzed and added Asparagus when served. My kids call this ‘ head Soup ‘ .

Yes KAtie I bought the Skinnymixer book. You could easily leave the miso out of the caramel. In fact I think I will next time.
I’m planning on taking Chookie’s Portuguese Tarts to our car AGM tomorrow.  I made the custard this afternoon.

Didn’t get around to making Tarts this morning so will do this afternoon and take them to the Palliative care center tomorrow.
Making Smoothies.  Thanks Judy.  I’m adding home grow spinach and broccoli. My ice machine didn’t recover from the shift. I considered buying another but think I’ll just use the tray in the freezer.
I made a dip , using light Philly, smoked salmon, sweet chilli sauce, chives and dill from the garden.

Ice trays will be fine for 1 Chookie, I just put a few trays in and then bag them up.
By the way, how did the kids come up with “head soup”.

Vegan butter, vege stew, smoked chickpea and butternut filo pie (I forgot to buy the pastry so made noodles separately to serve with the pie filling).

Judy, I suppose they called it Head Soup as I didn’t use a recipe.
Went to Aldi this morning and spent some money in the rubbish aisle. Bought a 3 piece set of glass containers with lids. Good. Also a gadget for making meatballs and Arancini. It makes a dip in the mix, so I put Buffalo Mozzarella in the hole. Rolled them in Panko crumbs and roasted in AF for 25 minutes on 160. I’m having one for Dinner on Zoodles and some Bol sauce.
Can’t wait to make risotto and try making arancini with it.
Also made a Potato loaf using Deb potato.

I made some of Chookie’s Portuguese tarts to take to the AGM yesterday. They were very popular.
