There's a Mongolian Lamb recipe in MOTM but not beef Meagan. Just a matter of substituting meat though ?

Glad to hear you are having a wonderful time Chookie and I'd be making the most of a break from the kitchen.  It might be hard but you will be home soon enough to get back into it. :-* :-*  Are you going to get out amongst the revelry tonight?

Chookie I can just picture it. All you need now is for Princess Mary to have the twins and it will be a real wild town.
Enjoy. I am supremely jealous.

So far today I have made a green smoothie for breakfast, a loaf of bread and the apple and date brownies from the veg cook book.

I was about to start a spinach and chickpea curry (which I start in the TM and finish in the slow cooker) when I discovered I have run out of tomato, so I'm going to get some a bit later.

 :)

Kath is the spinach and chickpea recipe from the Indian cookbook? I love the idea of having it bubbling away in a slow cooker!

Its a recipe from the cookbook Vegan With a Vengeance that I have tweaked to suit myself. I'll put it up tonight.  :)

Yesterday I made the Caribbean carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Today for breakfast I made a yummy boost juice from the EDC, and I have just made a cheescake with crunchies in it and put it in the fridge. I made Isi's cream cheese a couple of days ago and thought I'd give it a go in the cheesecake. I'll take a photo later when it has set! Tonight we are going to have chicken legs with coleslaw and a spinach salad.

MMMM Julia, I'm not even a sweets person but that looks lovely.

Today I made:
For breakfast - some potato cakes/hash browns

And a strawberry smoothie.

For lunch - tortilla's (TrudyO's recipe, we use this several times a week) to go with cold meats, salad, cheeses etc.

Dinner - Beef and Beer Casserole (should have taken a photo was too hungry obviously, lol)

And a loaf of bread.
