Yesterday the missus made Ginger Nuts (to use as base for a cheesecake), Chicken Korma, and Naan Dough

Today I was making Scones (dear me are those addictive) and Bagels (equally scrummy in a different way)

Hopefully add some photos in the morning

That reminds me on Saturday I made a Violet Crumble Cheesecake. Very nice, extremely fattening, and easy to whip up. Everyone loved it.

Cant say I have been cooking much lately as I have been so busy with work and family. Be glad when things settle down a bit. My DD (11) has just had her tonsils and adenoids removed today and I have been at the hospital all day, All going to plan she will be home in the morning as long as she eats her breakfast. I was planing on making lots of things that she could eat with ease like custards, yoghurt's, Jelly and ice cream etc, but these days they encourage you to eat normal foods including toast to help clear everything.
I had my tonsils removed 30+ years ago and cant remember much about it.

Hope DD is feeling better soon Mandi.

Today I had a day out with the GD, shopping, lunch & movies but I put a small piece of lamb on and made DH a roast tea. GD also tucked into a bowl of it on her way home in the car with her Mum.  Boy, can that kid eat  :D

Dede, I feel for you and DD. It is so hard watching your kids go through things like that ,easier to do it yourself. Make sure  she doesn't eat anything salty. My neighbors took my DD to see dr Doolittle not long after she had hers removed nd bought her chips afterwards..not nice!
Take care both of you x

Dede I hope DD managed to eat her breakfast. My DD had hers out about 20 years ago and had been warned by a friend that she had to eat her toast for breakfast. She ended up dunking it in the juice when the nurse wasn't looking. She still won't drink apple juice 20 years later.
Hope DD is feeling better.

Thanks everyone, DD is doing pretty well. I think she will recover pretty quickly. She has had so many sore throats in the past that its not making her miserable as she is used to having a sore throat. Hopefully she will improve day by day and then no more tonsillitis for her.
