So sorry to hear of what you're going through DD and do hope you manage to get a lot of rest and TLC.

A friend of mine has just had a back operation and was out the day afterwards - it sounds really scarey to be abandoned so quickly.

You are the  most important person at the moment so let your family take care of their own treats and leave your free to look after yourself. Take care Dot.

Dot the treats can wait - not one would expect such things when visiting.  I trust that your recovery will be speedy and your results positive. Cheers and rest as much as possible.  :)

DD, I hope you can feel the love.  My love and positive energies are with you also. Like has been said before, now is not the time for you to worry about treats for others.  Just take time to recover and let the family spoil you with whatever they can come up with.
I imagine the waiting is the worst, hope the 3 weeks goes by fast with a positive result.

Take care of yourself Dot, the treats for everyone can wait that way they will appreciate them even more. All the best for the results, it will be an agonising wait.

I had my op on Saturday (:Breast Cancer Lumpectomy and recon combined. :( ) I was only in hospital overnight and came out Sunday morning. My! you are in and out these days aren't you?  :o I have to wait another 3 weeks to find out if it was entirely successful though.  :-))I am not quite up to the weight of my TMX because I have to be kind to my underarms at present,so I am heartily glad that I filled my freezer beforehand. It would of course be good if my family were into Thermomix as well so they could make their own treats when they call on me cos I am running out of those sort of things already. Funnily enough, the things you people are making seem more enticing than the meals I have frozen. I want to make something right now.

Oh Dot, I wish you a speedy recovery. Surely those who are dropping by should be bringing food with them, rather than eating yours!  :o

Dear Thermy compatriots. Thank you all lots for your good wishes. I am doing fine but certainly sore.   just living out of my freezer. Today I am having my salmon pate with left over salad for lunch and pre-made cottage pie followed by apple cinnamon pudding for dinner tonight.  I now have an assortment of store bought biscuits and buns brought in by visitors so I am well stocked.
