I'm baking a couple of pumpkin custard pies to take along tomorrow when I take Aston to his "grandma's" house where he is going to spend Christmas while I am visiting my daughter and family.

Poor Aston will have to spend his days in the kennel.  I expect it will be quite a shock after his posh living here.
Basenji's are so smart- will he punish you when you take him home? Our Griffin refuses to look at whoever he is unhappy with.

There are a couple of vanilla slice recipes on the forum Uni, one using sao biscuits, the other using lattice biscuits.  What is the difference between a Greek custard and a 'normal' custard?

Okay I finally got around to giving this posting photos a go. These are the treats I made as part of our cubicle decorating competition at work. Sorry about the photos but I managed to get all the food to work safely and forgot the camera so had to use the work one and hope for the best.

BTW we won the competition.

Great result Twitterpated, knew you would win.  Another feather in your cap with the posting of pictures.  There will be no stopping you now, every mealtime the camera will be out and the family will roll their eyes  ;D

I know JD. They were already rolling their eyes when I told them that I was posting these pics. They said that nobody was interested in looking at someone else's cooking. How little they know......

Today I have made the updated EDC version of Spaghetti Bolognaise Sauce (Ragu) which has been posted on Recipe Community (better but still not what I am looking for), a potato-crusted quiche and Turkish Delight.

Congratulations Twitterpated on your win and the photos.

Today I've done a few lots of Lemon Butter for gifts, a Nut and Fruit Cake and DD has made some Choclate Brownies with a Peanut Butter filling. I'll post the recipe in the next couple of days. Dinner tonight is the broccoli and blue cheese pasta.
