Made plumicot jam earlier today.  I am not sure it is going to set enough. I may have to put it back in the thermomix and reheat it then add some jamsetta.

Tonight I have Swiss Beef in cooking.

I am thinking about making some fruity icy poles. I have some dicey pole molds and handles from when the kids were little so I am thinking about strawberry/blueberry puree an put it into the mold.

Have some more bread rising using the Atta flour. DH has made pea and ham soup and said he needed bread.

cut up some oranges and mango to freeze to make the Tropical Sorbet from the new Quick Mix book (love how there is no sugar added), and am going to make the corn cob salad from there as well. Will blitz some cornflakes to coat some lamb chops with, and that'll be our dinner and dessert tonight.

Golden Syrup cake in the oven now. it was browning quickly but still very wet in the middle, so have moved it from middle rack to bottom rack and turned oven down to 140C. I have cream in fridge to use up so will pour that over it for dessert. Spaghetti Bolognaise from EDC for dinner tonight.

Dashingden,  How much Jamsetta did you put in.?  I usually add about 1/2 a packet.

Tonight's dessert - golden syrup cake - will serve with whipped cream and butterscotch sauce

Probably 1/2 of each of these is more than adequate!!!!!!  :D  :D

I find the hearts from this tin deceptively large, I'm not much of a cake eater but wouldn't even get through half of one heart before giving up. I might try sticky date pudding in them though and see how they go.

They look wonderful Robyn. I also made golden syrup cake but just in a boringround cake tin. It's cooling as we speak and kids keep asking if they can have some yet!!
I made banana smoothies for breakfast, choc mousse for dessert, tomato pasta sauce and have yet to make pasta to make spinach and ricotta cannaloni.
