As I mentioned 1/2 is more than adequate - I only ever use this tin for desserts. Goldfish this is the tin - I picked it up form target at a bargain price

Cookie, it is the second book. I also have the first one. When the first one came out I asked Yoke if she could do one with greater variety in it. So this looks like it. I love the Photos, very professional. It is also quite cheap at $35. When you do your class with her and use the TMX, do you use the full amount of flour? I thought 700g was too much for the TMX. In this recipe, I was also surprised at the amount of Yogurt. I used 1/2b Wholemeal Spelt and 1/2 white bread flour. Also I have not attended to my starter for over a month, so I increased the amount and cut back on the water. It was also very cold here over night and although I left it on the kitchen bench, it didn't rise much. I placed it , in the TMX jug into a slightly warm oven to activate it. I don't think that they (the rolls) look all that good, but they do taste good. The texture is a little heavier than I like. But to answer your ?. Yes I do like the book. It was through Yoke and Dan Lepard that I changed my attitude to Sourdough. I thought that if they can cut through the mystique associated with it, then i can also. So I have developed my own method, but still love to try what others are doing.

I agree those cakes do look lovely!
That reminds me I rushed out to Target to buy that heart shaped tin because I just had to have it (and I haven't used it)
And I've been meaning to make the golden syrup cake for weeks now
I need more hours in the day!

Today I've had an ice-cream making day in my ice-cream maker. Started the prep work yesterday on
Brown Butter Ice-cream with Peanut Butter Ganache
and finished that one off first. I then made JulieO's
chocolate ice-cream
but reduced the chocolate by 50g followed by the lower fat chocolate version of
this
one.
For tea we had leftovers, I didn't have much because I wanted to try all the different ice-creams
It won't be a regular habit but you have to taste test them don't you
All different but nice.
I found my machine to be rather noisy and it got quite hot. Does anyone else find that with the Cuisinart compressor model? It was sort of rattly.

Dashingden, How much Jamsetta did you put in.? I usually add about 1/2 a packet.
Chookie I Reheated the jam on 100 for about 15 minutes then added 1/2 packet of Jamsetta and cooked at veroma temp for 15 minutes. There was skinning on the top of the jam in the bowl. I put a teaspoon on a cold plate and waited 30 sec to a minute then drug my finger through it. The jam seemed set.
It is thicker but not thick like store bought jam at room temperature. WHen I put a jar in the fridge it thickened up to a usable consistancy.

Judy the noise is the reason why my icecream maker lives in the upper garage beside the fridge, followed Cookie's advice from when I bought it.

Drove to Perth tonight because I am competing in a triathlon tomorrow so only made a beetroot salad with DD1's TM. We had it with some hamburgers that I cooked.
I picked all the ripe tomatoes from my plants before I left home I think I am going to be making sauce on Sunday when I get home.

Thanks Robyn, if and when I replace my washing machine with a front loader, I think mine may end up sitting on that
