That it was lol. And we just demolished nearly the whole loaf. It was lovely and soft and fresh. Spread with some butter while slightly still warm.

I've taken the kids to a shack on the Yorke peninsula with a friend and her daughter for a last hurrah before the holidays are over. Thanks to my Thermo chef, I was able to bring food that I had already prepared at home so that we don't need to bother cooking. We can have a holiday too and just hang on the beach, read books and play UNO with the kids. Today we had milo biscuits, chocolate raspberry brownies, and tacos filled with leftover bolognaise sauce and beef enchilada sauce. Tomorrow for breakfast we will have leftover banana buttermilk pancakes that I had frozen. So easy!
BTW Dede, I'm glad you liked the chocolate pavlova

Yes, my TM did a lot of the work before we arrived in Kalbarri, & she is being used everyday here minimum twice per day.

Yesterday I made lemon meringue pie for hubby, as the man can't stand chocolate cake
Weird right!......so anyway, this was his birthday cake
Unfortunately I dropped the first pie crust out of the oven
.......and it was a beautiful uniformed scalloped pastry too!
.....the second one I lost interest and time.....so I just stuffed the take 2 pastry in the tin

Maddy, I love these pies too. I cant do meringue in tm, just doesnt work for me.
Today I am making sweet potato fritters, from quick fix, kerrys ranch dressing, marinade for lamb & a zuchini slice.
Starting now before it gets too hot, then off snorkelling.

I'm not going to 'throw a prawn on the barbie' for Australia Day, instead I will be making the prawn & lemon risotto from Quick Fix.

Not good JD. They have found some cancer on his lungs and also through his body. He is been flown to Royal North Shore Hospital on Tuesday for more tests and may even operate if necessary. By the sounds of it they can't find the primary cancer.
