Your  sprouts Look great. How on earth did you unearth THAT recipe? I think we have talked about toasted sesame oil in the past. Maybe Tenina?  Anyway. O matter the meal looks yummy. Geoff is very well looked after indeed.

Gert I went looking for recipes using Toasted sesame oil (it was Quick Mix in the Thermomix where I first heard of it) and have posted a few links here on the forum.

More tomato sauce cooking away as I type :@)
A cake of some kind later and perhaps some finger buns for during the week. Heard they don't keep well so will freeze some. Pizza tonight as we went out for dinner last night and DS missed his pizza night.

DG that reminds me I have a huge lot of tomatoes I must use. Going to make some more relish.

Today I thought I should make something from the new recipe sheets from New Wave for my Thermo Chef. I am having a fabulous time making recipes from this forum, that I've hardly looked at the new recipes I've been sent. I made the bread dough and the chocolate chip cookies from the new recipe sheets. I was dubious about the bread dough as it only mixed for 1 minute, and it wasn't smooth and glossy. However, my machine didn't baulk at the 600g of flour like it usually does when I use recipes from the forum. The bread rose well and was light and fluffy. It was delicious warm out of the oven, and I'm curious to see what it will be like tomorrow. I may even have toast for brekky tomorrow.
The biscuits were easy and taste good .. I don't think that they are as nice as Dan Lepard's cranberry and choc chip biscuits that I made last week though.
Tonight I made  chicken skewers with satay sauce from the forum. I'm afraid to say that it's the first time that I've steamed rice iN my Thermo Chef or used my "varoma". It was delicious and I will definitely make this again.

Tonight I made the risotto style apricot chicken from EDC. Last night we had the speck and salad pizza from Spin a Dinner.  I haven't done much cooking the last couple of days. We have been using up all the leftovers from my Easter weekend cooking spree.

I also made a fruit cake the other day. I used the TM to rub the butter through the flour. I cooked a small square cake and some small cup cake sized cakes. We cut up the big cake into servings and freeze the lot. I then take out 2 serves at a time to have with a cuppa for afternoon tea or supper.

You are going great guns ES.  Nice to see their new recipes are working too.  Now you've tried the 'varoma' there will be no looking back, it's just that first time which is a bit daunting and getting used to how big to cut pieces of vegies and how long to steam them.

That brussel sprout recipe looks lovely, JD, thanks for posting it, I am definitely going to try that one.  I bought some really fresh sprouts at the farmers market at the weekend (they were still attached to the stalk!). Put them into my EGI stew (Everything Goes In stew) and they are the freshest, tastiest sprouts I have ever tasted.
