JD.  It will probably be a couple of weeks before I try the brussell sprout recipe as I am off to NZ later this week so it will be a wee while before I'm cooking again.  However, when / if I try it I'll let you know (unless they are a complete flop, in which case I will keep my fingers well away from my keyboard and my mouth firmly shut).

which bread roll recipe are you using uni - I love the shape, and they look yummy. Did you roll out to a rectangular shape and then cut them into long rectangles before baking?

CP i place my dough to rise in a  rectangular  bowl, no rolling  just patted it down gently  with my hands

Wholemeal bread

2 teaspoon dried yeast
1 teaspoon bread improver
1 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon salt
300 mL warm water
400 g wholemeal flour
