I am not like you in that I am hunting out things to cook Judy because you have nothing else to do. :-)) :-)) :-)) Oh I nose you just love to cook and share.

I am a sort of see and have to eat it kinda person. The photo is what makes me want to look at the recipe. I wonder what most people do with a new cookbook, look at the pictures first or the index?

I am like you Gert. I look at the pictures, then the name of the recipe and if both entice me, I will then read the recipe.

Always the photos, I am in a cooking dilema atm. Too many cookbooks, decide on one meal, then move on. I had to close the books & am cooking the first recipe I chose, reason being everyone will eat it a yummy chicken & leek pie.  Was looking at a lot of curries but not suiable for ds, so instead of defrosting a spag bol for him I deided we woud all eat the same tonight.

I made farfallina's chicken and sage for dinner tonight and some quince icecream. I also got around to starting my own Herman.

Beautiful morning in Melbourne.  Harvested the rest of the basil to be put into the freezer.  Sad when it's the end of the basil growing season, means we are in for some cold weather.

My posting reads 2.30pm Hally which is about right.  Don't know where you got the 4.30am ???

The grain I used was Laucke's Phytosoy Bread Mix which I got on special whilst you were away I think.  10 kg for $6.  It's soy and linseed.

A nice glass of wine always accompanies a meal that is a little bit special here, why waste an opportunity ;)

Gert, I used this recipe - mine didn't look as good as hers but next time I will par cook them I think.
