My eyes are heavy. Last batch of sausage rolls in the oven now. Might make some cheese devils tomorrow before the party and that will be the only thing I cook tomorrow.

I think I'm organized. Party is a 1.30. All food prepared and ready to pack. The things we do for our kids.

Last night I made a couple of different lemon butters ... then washed my floor after dropping 4 full bottles - lemon butter is very sticky stuff!! Got to make more now to replace the disaster.
This morning I made Moroccan Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Stew - it needed a couple of tweaks, but is really yummy. Unfortunately cannot remember where I got the recipe from - if I can back-track will post the link. Also made the spinach risotto from Leesmac, also a really yummy concoction - I used fresh baby spinach and I didn't cut it finely enough so the finished product is a bit 'stringy', but still great.
Just found the link to the pumpkin and sweet potato stew - it was on
Thermomixer's blog
. I found it needed loads longer cooking than the recipe called for and I think it would suit the addition of red lentils very well. The cinnamon stick broke up badly so would have to substitute powder for that.

I have made tomato soup, as we had so many in the vege garden.
Quiche for lunch.
Have marinated the chicken for dinner, Nay Nay;s scones, choc chip cookies, and more to come.
I'm saving heaps of money, now the vege garden is so full.

Dede, great effort well done, enjoy the party.
Cooking nothing today, going to a friends to relax in the sun and drinknsome wine.
Just funished making 26 scooby doo detective files for party invites, all with handwritten codes inside for kids to decipher and bring to the party. Pretty happy with them, so deserve a lazy afternoon. Crown Prince so aptly named.LOL
Made edc foccacia yesterday, easy and so yum.

I'm just going to jump in. Hope that is ok.
Marina, I'd cry if I dropped bottles of lemon butter.
Today I'm having a big cooking day. We are having some friends for dinner, and we are having a playdate at our house tomorrow. I have
barbacoa beef
in the slow cooker. I made the spice mix for it in the TMX. I've made coleslaw, and I was super careful to make sure I didn't make soup.
I have
Tenina's soft buttermilk rolls
proving. Next up I am going to steam some potatoes and boil some eggs in the TMX to make potato salad. I also made some
caramel popcorn
for tomorrow, but it's not a TMX recipe. It is very delicious though.
