Tonight is pumpkin gnocchi and cauliflower soup.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi all,
I have been lurking here for a couple of weeks since I got my new toy so I thought I should pop my head up. Today I made 2 batches of chicken hors-d'oeuvres, three batches of beef meatballs, hummus, capsicum dip and four quiches all in preparation for a party and then moroccan lamb with rice and naan bread for dinner (which was lovely, we will definitely be having that one again)followed by orange sorbet.  Phew! What a day!

We are having the good old 'cant be bothered to cook' pasta with chilli, garlic and olive oil
Tommorow night is Mushroom risotto as having friends over and need something I can whip up while the kids are getting ready for bed !
I am not very exciting in my repertoire this weekend!

I also made potato and leek soup for the kids and instant banana icecream from the veg book, and pumpkin and pulse curry for us. I then had some strawberries and cream, but alas no icing sugar!  TMX saved the day!  We are all curried out now.  TMX made every meal in this house today.

Hey guys, just to let you all know that I am still alive and 6 kilos lighter! 1 kilo every week so far so good! Woohoo! Where would I be without my THX! Its helped me sooooo much make all my lunches and dinners and enabled me to lose all the weight, although I still have a few kilos to go to make my ideal weight.
Have made gazpachos, cream of asparagus, cold cucumber soup, fish soup, chicken soup, vegetable soups, stuffed aubergines, diet bechamel sauce(made with courgettes) ratatouille, steamed fish & chicken & veg, clams in spinach, mussels in spicy sauce, mousakka and today I even made a diet strawberry cheesecake as an experiment, I was sure it was going to be horrible with no sugar and hardly any fat, but it was deeeeeeeelicious! Even the kids ate it! Just goes to show!! Even DH has lost 6 kilos too! He is ever so pleased and is finally getting over his jealousy and getting almost passionate himself about THX! I overheard him talking to someone today saying that our weight loss has been thanks to THX!  :D :D :D :D
Am missing my ice-cream though guys, somehow can't manage to make that diet yet, but hey....... hopefully soon!
If anybody would like some tips or ideas of how to lose the extra spare tyre....just let me know....its soooo easy with THX! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Congratulations - wish I could attribute weight loss to the TMX - it is definitely responsible for my weight gain !!!

Hi & welcome back Bron.  Congratulations on your weight loss Bron - willpower and TMX (a good combination) ;) ;) Are you going to post that diet strawberry cheesecake for the rest of us?

Of course JD! But basically its my traditional baked recipe tweaked. Wholemeal digestive biscuits with no sugar and only 40g of butter to wedge it in the cake tin, cream cheese thats called requeson in Spain, has very little fat, no almonds, only 2 eggs, skimmed milk instead of cream, 3 tablespoons of cornflour. All the rest is the same with lemon and lemon rind. And the topping diet strawberry jam with diet jelly in to set it! Deeeelicious! If you want it exactly JD, let me know and I will repost the diet version for you!
