I made the veggie concentrate today but it turned out really thick, much thicker than its been before. I guess the water content in some of my veggies were low. I know the zucchini needed using but all the other veggies were nice and fresh. I'm 99% sure I didn't miss any thing.
Has anyone else had this problem before?

Today was Bircher muesli for breakfast, potato and leek soup for lunch, then pizza with beet root salad for tea (dinner) followed by sorbet. So thermie has earned his keep today.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Haven't had a chance to use the Wiz for 2 days so making up for lost time. Made pancakes for breakfast, then hazelnut choc spread, and now have raspberry icecream in the freezer - converted from my DD's kid's cookbook. I wanted to make Ferrero Rocher icecream (hence the hazelnut choc spread), but DD wanted to make something from her cookbook, so maybe tomorrow. Also want to do some baking, probably cookies or chocolate cake (or both  ;)), then Isi's rolls and chorizo & lentil stew for dinner.

Do you normally use the bread improver Uni?

No cooking here today, too hot.  Out for lunch and leftover fried rice for tea.

We had left-over fried rice for lunch and as there was so much left I took a big container over to Mum's.
Very yummy!

Tonight were having BBQ with the beetroot, pear and feta salad from QFIIT.  Steaming the beetroot in Thermie as so easy.
I haven't told my OH were having this salad as he hates rocket, pears and fruit in general in any savoury dish.  It will be interesting to see what he thinks  :)
