We had our fluvax early April Judy and we're fine.

DD has been picked up by her loving Mum and has been given another week off work as she has bronchitis with a bacterial infection. She reckons the best part is not having to be on call this weekend, now it is the following one. :D
She is all safely tucked up  in bed asleep now.

Gretchen I'm a little bit the same at the doctors, then you get sopme no hoper who coughs and sneezes  all over you. Our doctors open out into a large mall area and we often stay out there.

Poor thing. She should never have been given the flu shot while she was feeling poorly. That is not nice. Give it a few days and rest rest rest. Your daughter should too. LOL!

Actually the kids have a party invite with lots of music, jumping castles, party food etc tomorrow night. Maybe I will just get up and dance for the hell of it ;)

Then again maybe I shouldn't. Knowing my luck I will do damage and end up back in a cast :(
Think I will take it careful for awhile.

Are you loony dede?  Do not do it. Your muscles will be weak. You will fall a over t  and be unable to do housework/cooking or anything for another month.  Oh what the hell, eat drink and dance.

Sine I broke my tibulah and fibulah (don't think they are spelt right) in my ankle I am very cautious because the surgeon said "next time I may not be able to fix it". Take care of your leg Dede and take it nice and steady.

Don't worry guys I know I won't be running around anytime soon, I'm guessing it will be a few weeks before my tendon is strong enough. When they put a cast on for the Achilles tendon problems they point your toes downwards so the tendon actually shortens over time while having no pressure on it for the time.
So I'm guessing physio for a while. And I really don't want to rupture it completely if I can help it.
So I will be good I promise ;D

Today I made a Zucchini Slice from leftover zucchinis when I made the Vegetable Bolognese Lasagne from QFITM last night. Also another batch of Tenina's Granuesli which doesn't last long. MaybeTenina could put out a lazy kids guide to cooking - she could call it Make it Yourself! Going to make the chicken with udon noodles from QFITM for tea tonight, and then the leftovers from last night and the zucchini dish can be for tomorrow nights tea served with salad and garlic bread.

2 hours 19 minutes to be exact. It's raining quiet heavy here this morning, I hate going in the rain on crutches, it's so dangerous.
The other week while at the supermarket I slipped on something on the floor (luckily I didn't fall) and I didn't hurt myself but it worries me.
Slow and steady for me today :)

Shouldn't be to bad Sister Gert, I'm going to orthopedics at the hospital, so mainly people with broken bones etc in there.
