 ;) ;) ;)

I've just whipped up farfallina's chocolate pineapple cake (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10263.0) with a few modifications according to ingredients I did and didn't have. I can't wait to see how it turns out ;D

Will also be cooking a bread and butter pudding later, using leftover fruit bread.

Hope to make something else but haven't decided what yet :-))

AWay on hols, and can't believe the expensive crap food shops are selling.  Gave in today and bought a loaf of bread.   Not Italian as advertised,  but No Fuss in character.  At least it was fresh.  Ate it with Avo, tomato and lettuce.  You should see the Vanilla slices!!!! $4 and not as good as what we are making here.  $9 for a cooked piece of Flake, ( shark).  OMG,  I love my TMX

My son is in England at the moment and is in love with the bakeries over there (well at least one bakery in York).  I dread to think what he will be asking me to make when he gets back (I'm hoping he discovers Eccles cakes....that was my big weakness when I was there but they are hard to find here...would give me an excuse to make them).  My daughter is missing him because I haven't been baking with him being away and me trying to get over my cold...so she has been eating store bought bread and apparently I am the worst mother in the world.  I fed Herman this morning so I will probably take pity on her and bake a loaf tonight.

I just finished decorating farfallina's Chocolate Pineapple Cake (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10263.0). As you can probably see, I had some fun with melted chocolate :D
Will post another photo when I cut it.

About to post a review on the thread with the modifications I made ;)

Looks great Amy! Today I made a batch of Judy's cafe biscuits - left the choc melts off half the batch as DD2 now says she doesn't like chocolate! They look a little undressed but still taste great. Made some shortcrust pastry so I could try out my new pie maker - here's the result:

Supposed to be goats cheese, sundried tomato & chive quiche, I don't think I filled them enough. I made them for my work lunches but I want one NOW!

They look filled enough to me Deedub, to the top of the pastry. You don't want them sticking to the lid like the buns that I have just put in mine. I had to quickly transfer them to the oven so I hope they don't drop.

It was East meets West for tea here tonight - used my pie maker for chow mein pies.  Surprisingly good too.
