Sorry girls, this was the ciabatta I did. (the other recipe needed it to be left 18hrs!) you could mix it in thermie or just by hand. Although it takes longer in total than a normal loaf it's sooooo easy and so nice to have a completely different style/taste. Which surprises me when if you look at bread recipes they are often not THAT different!

Hint: put PLENTY of flour on the bench/cling wrap/baking mat, when you take it out of the bowl. It's sooooo sticky it will not come off easily without. This next link has a great video too, sometimes seeing it is everything!

I ende up just mixing this one in a bowl and leaving it to rise in there. I moved it around the house and once the cake was cooked I left the oven door open (has been a cold week) and sat the bowl on a chair then moved it onto the oven door then in the oven. If I warmed something in the microwave... I sat the bowl in there for a bit. Lol. So worth a go though!!! C'mon uni have a go!

Using up bits & pieces from the fruit bowl today. So far have made lemon curd & stewed some apples, about to start on a banana cake. No idea yet what to have for dinner - could be apple pies with lemon curd for main & banana cake for dessert! Or the other way round.....

End up making sausage rolls, egg and bacon pie, Amy's chocolate muffins, pumpkin loaf and chocolate crunch. In between I packed all the meat. Ended up with 53 bags of Kangaroo mince

Blimey teddy Mandi!
I think I must have missed something...where did all the Kangaroo mince come from?
Glad to hear the healthy muffins are still being enjoyed

A friend of DH minced up 3 foresters. That's a lot of meat. Don't think we need to buy mince for awhile
We mixed it with some minced lamb flaps to break it down a bit.
We also got a full pig, 10kg of beef mince and 5 kg of burgers. So I was busy packing all the meat.
The leg of the pig is so so big I have to get DH to cut it up into 4 each leg. Way to much for even the 7 of us
